Strong communities are built one act of service at a time. The VFW Auxiliary Post 10041 lives this value through highway cleanups, graveyard maintenance, and donations to the Bethel Food Bank and Winter House. These projects keep our villages safe and beautiful while showing respect for the land and the people who live on it.
We also focus on practical safety. Last year we distributed life jackets for kids and worked with local organizations to provide school supplies and winter gear. In a region where rivers and harsh weather shape daily life, these small efforts prevent tragedy and show that veterans’ families care about every child in the Delta.
Join us at the next cleanup or safety project. Every pair of hands makes the Yukon-Kuskokwim stronger.
